Designed for doors of medium weight and low frequency usage, these solid brass hinges are suitable for residential installations. Ideal for use on wood or hollow metal doors and their corresponding frames. The 985 features a stainless steel, rust-proof pin which is knurled at the top to prevent rising, yet is "free-floating" within the barrel of the hinge. The pin can be easily removed by unthreading each finial and tapping the pin upward. They conform to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) A2133 Specifications for performance, screw hole and cutout locations.
