Please note: This locking system will fit a 1 3/4 inch thick door with a 5 1/2 inch Center to Center measurement. Latchbolt operates by lever from either side. Deadbolt activated by key outside and turnpiece inside.

How do I know if I have a 5 1/2 inch Center to Center measurement? If you are replaceing existing hardware, the easiest way to measure this is at the edge of the door. The measurement will be from the center of the deadbolt to the center of the latch mechanism. If this is a new installation, there might be two pre drilled holes in the door. In this case, the measurement is from the center of the top hole to the center of the bottom hole. If there are no holes drilled in the door, the installer can drill the holes for 5 1/2 Center to Center.

What is a Backset? Backset is the measurement from the edge of the door to the center of the hole that is or will be bored into the door to accommodate the knob, lever or handle.

What is Door Handing?

Left Hand Door (LH)
Looking from the exterior side of the door, if hinges are on left, you have a left-hand door. Left-Hand hardware is required.

Right Hand Door (RH)
Looking from the exterior side of the door, if hinges are on the right, you have a right-hand door. Right-Hand hardware is required.
